Vyasa वेद व्यास – Ancient Indian
|
It is Nature that causes all
movement. Deluded by the ego, the fool harbors the perception that says "I
did it. - Veda Vyasa, The Bhagavadgita
or The Song DivineVeda
Veda Vyasa was an Ancient Indian.
(Sanatana Bharatiya). He was one of the important historians, astronomers and
philosophers of the Dwapara Yuga.
When he was young, all the knowledge
of the past was available as one single Veda. (Veda means -That which is
known). But when he wanted to teach the Veda to his students, he found that no
one student had the ability to learn it all. So he divided it into 4 vedas,
Puranas, UpaPuranas. And he asked different students to learn different Vedas.
He himself documented the Mahabharata an itihasa like the Valmiki Ramayana. - ancientindians.in

When ego is lost, limit is lost. You become infinite, kind, beautiful. - Yogi Bhajan
Ego is the main obstacle to enlightenment. It hinders our spiritual, mental and all other activities. We fail to see reason and submit ourselves to the Supreme Being because of ego. We have to get rid of ego.
Harbhajan Singh Puri (1929-2004) was the son of a medical doctor. He spent his youth in privileged environments in private schools and his summers in the exclusive Dalhousie mountain region of Himachal Pradesh. As a young boy, he attended a Catholic convent school.

When he became a United States Citizen in 1976, Yogi Bhajan changed his name legally to Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji. He introduced Kundalini Yoga in the USA.
When he was just eight years old he began his yogic training with an enlightened teacher, Sant Hazara Singh, who proclaimed him to be a Master of Kundalini Yoga when he was sixteen and a half.
