Boris Yeltsin - Politician
We don't appreciate what we have until it's gone. Freedom is like that. It's like air. When you have it, you don't notice it. - Boris Yeltsin.

The first sentence is very apt and applicable to many of our possessions. Right from wealth to several things we own may not seem significant until we lose them. We need to appreciate the things we have. Here, Yelstin compares our materialist possessions to the most valuable of all things, Freedom. As a person who steered Russians to freedom, he knows better about freedom than many of us.
